angry.little.tree I just wanted to say I've been a fan of yours since well... forever! Growing up in Florida you were our surfing hero. I even remember watching you on Baywatch and telling everyone "that's our Florida boy!" I wish I could have seen you surf Pipe live one time. It was always my dream to go and photograph the waves at Pipe. But alas, that's just a pipe dream, pun intended haha. But I just wanted to say you've always been an inspiration to me. I could never surf because I have balance and health issues, but I boogie boarded in my youth at Daytona Beach many a time. Just wanted to share some love! ??

hngtn His killer instinct is gone! He had a wave come to him with priority in the last 10sec...he should’ve tried to go big or something. When I did contest CA and the clock was ticking and you needed a wave u took it. It’s called going down swinging...slater looks like he doesn’t even care anymore and just enjoying the publicity and free trips. Give up the spot for the young guys that want it...

d_gerous I would like to point out how incredibly well you are surfing right now. Just watched some replay heats. You look faster and sharper than before your foot injury. They been scoring the power turns and barrels high. So work that angle. Unless it’s a crazy air they don’t seem to score it high. Seems like they liking the full rap cutbacks. As they should.
