pennstatepenny Often we think about future generations- but I heard it put well recently - it’s quality of life now that people should also want to protect. I’d love for multiple sets of dear friends to have not lost everything in CA firestorms. Climate change is impacting us now. The hundreds of yrs old cedar tree I see from my bedroom window has lost 5 huge branches this year. Just saw one fall this week and thank God my kids or dog were not out there - it’s the result of 4-5 yrs of debilitating drought followed by extreme rain and snow followed by extreme windstorms.

danthegrandkayakman I think climate change is an issue that should be addressed, but I also think that it is an opportunity for corruption and manipulation to rise. Just as everything else, individual choice is our only way put of this. Yes it is an issue, but it is not one that should give governments an opportunity to gain more control and wealth, and we must be careful we don't destroy what we have build in persuit of what we desire.
