For the first time in his career, Prince invited a handful of high-profile artists to make cameos on the album, from the rappers Chuck D and Eve to pop artists Sheryl Crow and No Doubt's Gwen Stefani, and the trailblazing indie-folk artist Ani DiFranco. 🔸 “The Greatest Romance Ever Sold" was released as the album's first single, along with remixes that further showcased Prince's eye for emerging talent.
