Today we are remembering three world-renowned alpinists, American climber Jess Roskelley and Austrian climbers David Lama and Hansjörg Auer who perished on Howse Peak in Alberta, Canada doing what they loved. Thank you for inspiring us – we are fortunate to have witnessed and felt the greatness, talent and humanity you all shared with us and the mountaineering community. Perhaps Roskelley said it best himself, “That’s what’s so great about the climbing community - we’re all connected in one way or another.” Our respect and condolences to family and friends.
