Wheat is one of the most ancient and recurrent themes of the Maison's creations. It was also the favourite motif of Empress Joséphine, Chaumet's first client and muse: a motif she particularly cherished on her tiaras. Throughout the years, the Maison's jewellers have played with this symbol of abundance and fertility.
