Yes, we did sleep here. This image was taken in 2016 on my successful summit of #Everest without supplemental oxygen. Sleeping close to the line climbers use to summit provides us safety.
A sight like this will not be an option when we start our push next month. In the mean time, we are acclimatizing (going high and sleeping low), resting and enjoying basecamp camaraderie.
