I was fortunate enough to visit the @メトロポリタン美術館 in the early morning hours recently, before the doors opened and the halls were quiet and calm, to see this Cézanne painting. Cézanne once said, “With an apple I want to astonish Paris.” For him, something as simple as an apple inspired masterpieces. One of the things I love most about pastry is that with a few simple ingredients - just butter, flour, sugar, and eggs - and a bit of imagination, you can create almost anything. 🎨: Paul #Czanne (French, 1839–1906).
