It’s all too easy to get caught up in seeking validation through likes and comments and constantly comparing ourselves to our fav celebs/models because all we see on our feeds are curated images of what is perceived as societal’s expectation of beauty (i.e big full lips 👄, tiny waist, big ass 🍑). It’s time to acknowledge how detrimental these highly photoshopped/edited images can be on our self-esteem and mental health and realise that societal perception of beauty is ever changing! ————— My take home message for you guys is take every photo you see with a grain of salt🧂, not everything you see is as it seems.
