I am so incredibly thankful to the anti- poaching teams and vet units of @sheldricktrust . When poaching was at it’s worst in Kenya I had the crushing experience of witnessing 2 huge elephants who had been killed by wire snares . it was horrific. I still have Nightmares about it. So thank you to everyone who helps support @sheldricktrust so that more 🐘 can be saved from this tortuous , slow death, like this elephant who was luckily found in time to be freed and will be fine 😅. #antipoaching #worthmorealive #elephants

Kristin I just wanted to thank you for all you do for elephants and your kindness to all animals. We need more people like you in the world and it sickens me everyday to hear of how cruel people are to animals and the amazing creatures we have. I adore all animals and if I didn’t have to work like a dog to survive in this world, I would spend all my days and nights fighting for them and protecting them. Thank you again. ?

Elephants are one of my favorite animals, too! Thank you so much for sharing this with us and bringing attention to this devastating reality. You are such a beautiful soul! It makes me sick to my stomach thinking a human being could really harm an animal for absolutely no reason...makes me so upset and mad. Thank goodness this elephant was saved!

@iamkristindavis I am a huge fan of you and your work, and I know by posting pictures like this raises so much awareness, but it so heartbreaking to see, you just can’t help but feel so sad and a little ache in your heart. ?we are all so cruel... keep doing what you do Kristin...

@kims82hull are the anti-poaching rangers not humans? Do you know how many of them get shot and injured doing this job? You probably don’t hear too much about it because they are black but I grew up near the KNP and it happens a lot. Your comment is dumb.

It’s so heartbreaking to watch these photos but eternally thankful for orgs like @sheldricktrust that help save the lives of these beautiful creatures. My husband and I have recently joined as donors. Thank you for raising awareness of this!
