anniesmith914 An email was sent out to IKEA family-price for chair in email said $19, so I drove the 30 miles to get four chairs. Customer service couldn’t find chair in computer and told me to look up and down stocking aisles to find it. (Rude, but ok I did it). Find EXACT chair in photo, stack four and drag that cart and my cart with my baby and other purchases to check out. Chairs ring up as $99. I show clerk the email and he calls manager. Manager comes over and says chairs are different names, although exact photo and to wait for him to go look, also had me fwd email to him so he can make sure it’s from corporate. Mean time my baby is hungry and ready to go bc it’s taken way longer than it should have. He comes back later and says someone messed up and he will offer me $89. Ummm, no thank you. It shows a price, you should honor it and have corporate issue a recall on email. He says he can’t and he will call me after working on it. (He didn’t, by the way). I leave and call corporate...after an hour of being hung up on, disconnected and put on hold, I finally get help. Pamela has me send email, looks It over and says store should have honored it. Talks to her manager, April, and says for me to drive back (another 30 miles) and buy them at full price and then call her back and they’ll reimburse the difference. So I do. Call and call and email and email and finally two days later, get her on the phone. Give the info they need and her boss will email me claim number. No email comes. It is now a week later and no one will call or email me back. Have left multiple messages and emails with a ton of people. No answer. So now after driving the 30 miles each way twice, I’ll have to do it AGAIN to return the chairs. Never again, IKEA.

cathysurgeoner Ikea! Your frames use plastic instead of glass, can you be a bit more environmentally conscious!!! It’s like everyone else is trying to use less plastic, and your response is “yay let’s wreck the planet wohoo” @ikeausa
