MY LIFE IS THE PIECE THAT LIFTS UP SO MANY LIVES, YOUR LIFE IS THE OTHER IMPORTANT PIECE OF THE PUZZLE THAT CONNECTS TO SOMEONE ELSE'S LIFE, AND FULLFILLS THOSE LIVES. WE MAY NEVER KNOW JUST HOW PROFOUNDLY IMPORTANT OUR PIECE OF THE PUZZLE IS BY BEING WOVEN TOGETHER. OUR VERY BREATH IS THE SURVIVAL OF OTHER'S LIFE. BE IT GIVING TIME, SHARING KNOWLEDGE, UPLIFTING THEIR SPIRIT, NAVIGATING THEM TO A RESOURCE THAT CAN CHANGE THEIR LIFE, PROMOTING THEIR ACHIEVEMENTS, A LISTENING EAR, A RIDE IN NEED WHEN THEIR VEHICLE IS DOWN, PRAYER, AND SHARING GOD'S WORD. LIFTING ONE UP WHO IS LOST, LIFTING ONE UP FROM THE LOST OF A JOB, LOST OF LIFE, LOST OF A LOVE ONE, SHARING A BIRTHDAY, COMFORTING THEM DURING A UNTIMELY DEATH, OR A BAD MISTAKE IN THEIR LIVES. EVEN DOING A FUNDRAISER FOR SOMEONE TO HELP THEM IN A TIME OF NEED FROM A CAR ACCIDENT OR TRAIL, TO MOVE FORWARD IN LIFE IN THEIR CAREER. WE MAY NEVER KNOW JUST HOW IMPORTANT OUR KINDNESS AND SUPPORT CAN CHANGE SO MANY LIVES. YOUR PIECE OF THE PUZZLE IS VERY IMPORTANT IN SOMEONE ELSE'S LIFE! WE MAY NEVER KNOW WHERE OUR ROLE AS ONE OF GOD'S VESSELS, A PERSON OF COURAGE, AN INSPIRATION TO OTHERS, POSSEING AND USING NOBLE QUALITIES TOWARDS EACH OTHER, MAY FIT. POSITIVE ACTIONS WILL EFFECT MANY LIVES. IT WILL POSITIVELY ADD TO THE FUTURE OF THE WORLD AND THE SURVIVAL OF THE UNIVERSE. jordanr507 My name is Jordan Robinson and I am president of the Black Student Union at St Luke’s School in New Canaan, Connecticut. In December of last year a man named Anthony Ray Hinton came to our school. Anthony Ray Hinton was on death row for 30 years for a crime he didn’t commit. When he was released he was neither compensated or apologized to. We the BSU found his story very moving and was wondering how we could help him. The only thing he said he wanted was a formal apology from the state of Alabama. So we started a social media campaign and petition to get him the justice he deserves. So I’m here today to ask for your help in sharing his story and using your platform to help a man who was failed by our criminal justice system.
