Goal: Sofia wanted long layers, to remove a bit of weight, to keep her perimeter thick, make her face appear narrower and to be able to part her hair different ways.
1️⃣ I took a horizontal section on the center and used hair from the back as a guide. I cut the section shorter in the back and longer in the front. Since short hair pushes long hair, this will cause the hair to push towards her face, making it appear narrower.
2️⃣ Starting at the center, I worked my way to the sides using a traveling guide. Once I reached the parietal ridge, I used that section as a stationary guide and pulled the next sections straight up towards it. Sections towards the bottom didn’t reach.
