Reduce, reuse, recycle with our social media manager, Alanna (me). 😉 I try to do my part and live my life as eco-conscious as possible. One of my favorite DIY recycling projects is using my empty John Masters jars as pots. Also who doesn't love succulents?! Hopefully this little video sparks some eco-friendly inspiration! I know I had a lot of fun making it. Feel free to DM us with any questions! ⁣

Instructions:⁣
1. Wash jar with warm water and soap.⁣
2. Rinse well and dry – Make sure there is no product left in the jar.⁣
3. Line the bottom of the jar with small terrarium rocks. (This helps with drainage and overwatering.)⁣
4. Soak dried sheet moss in water for a few seconds and squeeze out any excess liquid.⁣
5. Place the slightly damp moss onto the rocks, patting it down so that it fills the entire surface area and forms a barrier that keeps the soil from falling into the rocks.⁣
6. Fill the jar (almost to the top) with succulent soil.⁣
7. Remove your succulent from the nursery pot and remove as much soil as you can.⁣
8. Create a pocket in the soil for the roots of the succulent.⁣
9. Place your succulent roots in the soil.⁣
10. Carefully add and pack more soil to cover the roots.⁣
11. Add a top dressing, such as decorate rocks or sand.⁣

Happy planting!! ⁣
