what a way to close out this week - a truly special writing session with this brilliant and beautiful soul, @crystalbowersox. i’ve been such a fan of hers for so long and we met by total #nashville serendipity a few months ago. i had this nugget of an idea i’d been kicking around my brains for a loooong time, and in true rockstar fashion, she put her magic on it and we turned it into a song. and i couldn’t be more grateful, or more excited about it. you know it’s a good write when 2 hours after the co-writer leaves, you haven’t done a thing but continue to play the song. ❤️ #crystalbowersox
