Say cheese 🧀 @samlawrencephoto was lucky enough to come across this mumma #dugong and her calf on a chance encounter at #NingalooReef, and it certainly looks like they were more than happy to pose for a photo! It is estimated that 10,000 dugongs live in the waters of #SharkBay in the @australiascoralcoast region of @westernaustralia, representing 10% of the world's remaining population. These beautiful and endangered creatures are an incredible sight to see in the wild, you can try your luck at spotting one on a wildlife cruise with @liveningaloo or @oceanecoadventures.
