thejonohye In japan there is an art called Kintsugi which is the repair of broken plates, bowls, vases etc using glue infused with gold. The repaired item is thought of as more beautiful than new since the pattern of cracks is unique and fused with gold leaving a bright, vein like design. Beautiful metaphor for the human experience.
