I went to Augusta wanting to do something no one had ever done before - break the curse!! You see no one has ever won both the Par 3 contest & The Masters in the same year & I wanted to change that. . So Wednesday came around & with my college roommate @das432 caddying for me in the par 3, I accomplished part 1 winning the Par 3 contest with a score of 5 under 22! (Here I am with my wife @dianedonald and our 1st child Ellie, aged 1 with the trophy) . Now for the hard part....I played well that year, coming up the 72nd hole, I needed to birdie the 18th to tie Geoff Ogilvy & Tiger Woods for the clubhouse lead. My 7 iron second shot into 18, hit the flagstick and came off the front of the green - not to be deterred and with my goal still firmly in my head, I chipped it in to birdie 18 and finish at 10 under. . At that point I thought my goal may still become a reality. It wasn’t to be, Charl Schwartzel birdied his final 4 holes that year to deservedly win & Jason Day and Adam Scott also had strong finishes & I ended up T4th! . The curse still hasn’t been broken to this day, I wonder if any of the players this week have the same goal as I did as the Par 3 contest begins in a few hours #talesfromaugusta」4月10日 21時34分
