Back then I couldn’t get off the ground, probably because I had no idea how to knee bar, so I had zero expectations. I came across some really rad people and we all sessioned together - even holding a pad for shade. I was surprised to send, but isn’t that the beauty, when we don’t have expectations anchoring us, we are able to create space for cool things to happen - in climbing and in life.
