tobelucid So REI, @minayounglee was reprimanded for bringing her dog to Havasupai — it is made very clear that this is not allowed. She made an “apology post” claiming she respected the land, and cared about the environment. She went on to say she would rather be educated so she’d know for the future. So when I saw that she had numerous other photos depicting behaviour at Havasupai that was against the rules (packrafting, inflatables). She even wrote a “guide” promoting this kind of behaviour. I commented politely letting her know and asking her to do the right thing. She deleted the comment, blocked me, and feigned ignorance once again. What disgusting, hypocritical behaviour. I am so disappointed that REI would choose to partner with someone who doesn’t respect the outdoors to represent their brand.
