The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall were in Northern Ireland today, to reopen Hillsborough Castle following an extensive 5-year renovation.
Their Royal Highnesses toured the Castle’s new rooms and gardens, meeting craftspeople, volunteers and staff involved in the project and people already enjoying the new facilities.
A Summer House was built in the Walled Garden (3rd 📸) by young craftspeople on the Traditional Building Skills Programme. The programme was delivered by The @theprincesfoundation & The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust as part of The Prince’s Foundation’s ‘7 for 70’ projects for His Royal Highness’s 70th birthday last year.
