My husband and I hopped into an Uber with a friendly local. We told him he wanted to see this boat shed, and he responded, “I’m pretty sure it’s flooded.” Sure enough, upon reaching it, the entire boardwalk was underwater. . Standing there in my high heel boots, I found it hilarious and thought, “Why not?” Mustering up my courage, I splashed into the harbor—all the while, shivering and giggling.
