He belayed me, carried my crash pads, dealt with cameras, and kept his own fear hidden so that I could be in the mental space I needed. He never discouraged me from pursuing Ambrosia or Too Big to Flail - he knows me too well 😉 I’m driven to pursue my goals. But so is he (maybe even more so! 😂). James wrote himself a list of problems for our trip to Bishop - Saigon Direct, High Plains Drifter, the Croft Problem, the Hulk, Pope’s Prow, to name a few - and sent every one. . I’m so fortunate to have a partner who is equally motivated in his own vision as he is willing to help me with mine. James inspires me every day with his passion for climbing and his commitment to his own dreams.
