Well, what’s changed is: we’re actually talking about it. That is huge. That was not happening before a year ago. That’s the biggest change. We are talking about it. And here’s the thing. We are not going to stop talking about it. #MeToo is not going away until we end the cycle of abuse of power, until we end the cycle of abuse at home and in the work field, #MeToo is not going away until we intrinsically change the unconscious bias toward women, minorities, people of color, and anyone of any other sexual orientation or belief than your own. Until all people are truly created equal and the entire world stops viewing any other human as less than. Stops viewing women as second-class citizens. We are not going to stop talking about it. Until we start believing survivors. No matter the setting. Each and every one of us have to search our hearts and our minds and go home to our families and look into the eyes of our children and take a hard self reflective inventory of integrity and ask ourselves: Am I hurting the process or am I helping? Because healing starts in the heart. In the mind. Of each and every single one of us. Then we have to educate. We have to empower. We have to believe. We have to change the laws. 📷 @stephanieschuster」4月6日 4時21分 - abigailspencer
