This pic makes me sad. It’s me singing “Let’s Hurt Tonight” in London, off our album (the album we abandoned) “oh my my”... it’s one of my fav songs we ever did that I just didn’t have the steam or fuel left to actually promote or push... I was at total burnout & quickly approaching a nervous breakdown. which makes me sad cuz I love the hell out of this song. A lot. If u haven’t heard it- listen and you’ll know why. It also was a “live instrument” actual band sounding song at a moment when the world only wanted dance drops or features so I also learned the value of timing. This picture invariably makes me sad... but so happy to not be in that headspace anymore. ;). Xo

Already more than a thousand replies, mine is just gonna be another reply singing praises to this album.. I love all your work, and it’s not uncommon for me to listen to some songs from another singer that I don’t particularly follow, and went “owh I like this sound”, only to later on find out that you were actually behind that song.. But 1R songs are my treasures! I don’t understand what you meant by “the album we abandoned”, but I can assure you, this album did not abandon me.. Choke literally choked me with feels, and I sung Colors under the shower so passionately, my husband had to ask if I cried 😅 but Let’s Hurt Tonight is when things get real.. I know songs speak differently to people, and what I get from this song might not be the same thing others get from it, but for me this song speaks true of the reality in something so mundane as marriage life.. I understands all the references, the naked words, because I see it everyday in my life.. And I can’t be more grateful for this song, because it told me that it’s okay to hurt, it’s okay to love, let’s talk about that..

@ryantedder I truly wish I could put in words what your music has done for me!! I’m 30 and have now battled Systemic Lupus Nephritis (kidney failure) for half of my life now,, I’m like a cat with 9 lives and if it wasn’t for your music pulling me out of my darkest days I don’t know where I would be,, every song in my “most played list” is by you/one republic,, and my no1 favs are Counting stars, I lived and Fighter by @gymclassheroes feat; @ryantedder , I can not thank you enough for what your music has done for me,, as it probably has for many millions of others too,,,, but thank you 🙏🏼 love hugs and best wishes always for you, your family and @onerepublic you truly are a gem 💎

That is my moooost favourite song too, I have heard it 100384649 times. There is so much songs about love, how beautiful love is, how makes us feel love, and etc. But @lethurttonight is only one that sings about pain, suffering that we HAVE to survive

That sad sad moment. When you’re counting down minutes until the Niagara Falls tickets release for one republic. Then they’re so expensive that your heart breaks. You guys better come back to Canada again. I love you. But 280$ is so much 😭💔

That's an amazing song!!! My 14 months old boy doesnt eat without listening to that song, my 6 years old daughter told me "Lets hurt tonight" is one of her favorite songs! All of ur songs are beautiful, i always loved One Republic music 🙌
