nina_uart Ok so question i habe a crop censor camera right now i will be shooting a sporting event next weekend i read 24 to 70 mm is essentilly somewhat useless at an event like this because of my crop censor what lens would give close to the equivalent of a 24mm to 70mm on a crop censor? I dont want to get a crop censor lens just because i may end up gettint a full frame. Also what ither type of pictures would the equivalent be good for i would only buy vs rent if id have a use for it in the future

nina_uart @sigmaphoto so here is my situation i dont necessarilly want to buy a crop censor only lens if i eventually will get a full frame ..... i feel that will be a costly mistake if the 17 to 50 will also fit on a full frame then im down if not i guess i need to know what lens i should get to get close to thatwide angle range that will still work on a full frame .. i do not own the crop censor canon i have now other wise buying a crop censor lens wouldnt be an issue

loveinaframe.gr Yes I have it. it s a decent lens but the worst service ever from sigma. I send my lens for service from Greece and they told me that they must send it to Japan to fix it. I am wait 9 weeks and they didn't replace my lens with a demo one. I hate sigma from now and then!!!

raphael_belly_photography We have the 150-600 (450mm range), the 60-600 (540mm range). When for a 24-400 or 28-400 something like this? There is no transtandard lens in your catalogue for FF camera whereas APSC owners have the 18-300.

sigmaphoto @nina_uart Thank you for your interest. 17-50mm on an APS-C(Crop) is equivalent to a 24-70mm on a FF body. If you are getting a FF body, I think 20-70mm is the best choice.

erick_____d I do and not happy ! Stabilizer doesnt work ..... and if its pointed down the lense Extenze on its own to 70 .... but the overall feel and look is awsome !
