We talked about my career and goals, married life, beauty and fashion. I was also asked about my move to Singapore, a question I often dread. 9 out of 10 times, I’d give a reassuring answer that all is well. During this interview, I wanted to be honest and openly talk about how I’m REALLY dealing with such a drastic change. It wasn’t easy and it still isn’t. I miss home and my loved ones more and more everyday. I left my world and everything I knew behind. I have days of happiness but more often, I have days of intense sadness. And until now, I don’t know what to make of it. Everyone wants a sense of belonging and I’ve yet to find mine here. It was important for me to say what I had to say because 1. I’m not the first person facing this and I definitely won’t be the last 2. I’m human. As of now, I don’t have a solution to this predicament I’m in but you know what?
