She loved music and sang nonstop as she made our house a home. When she was a teen she was part of a girl group ~The Brooktones~these are some of their doo-wop songs. I love to listen to their young voices, full of energy and free. Pat Boone asked them to be his opening act on his European tour. They stayed in high school instead, and were all engaged by graduation. The group disbanded and my mom put my dad through college. She brought music to my family’s life along with laughter and fun.
