As a millennial and a “child of the internet age” I too always think I have the answer to the big conspiracy that is trumping our world and the real reasons we are “held down”. At the same time, I know that a lot of that is deflection from the accountability we must have for OURSELVES. We all so woke but still doing the same negative shit to one another, we all woke but still eat fast food every now and then, we all woke but still tryna impress one another with financial gains. We can’t always be focused on the government and all the ways they are against the “people” SOMETIMES ITS ABOUT US BEING AGAINST OURSELVES. Change starts with the INDIVIDUAL, if we sit around and talk about all the things we can’t control we will get NOWHERE and that’s exactly where we are. I’m not tryna blame nobody for my unhappiness cause I’d be damned if I gave anyone that control!! Be the best person YOU can be and no one can stop you cause what God has for you is already yours. Sit back and focus on all the negative and you will find yourself in the same spot with the same down troddened mentality that enslaved all those before you. Be the change you wanna see and teach your kids the same, that’s the only opportunity for a new world. I’m tired of talking I just want us to BE.
