@jordynwoods just to touch on this issue people seem to have with your statement about being a black woman....please don’t digest the misunderstanding by people who really don’t know what it’s like to be you...it’s important to understand growing up surrounded by fame and connected to wealth in general you can be shielded from racism...exceptional Black Americans tend to be “excused” by racists as awful as that sounds...the idea that someone can go to a rally promoting white supremacy and want a selfie with an accomplished and successful Black person is perplexing at best...So I am not surprised racial slurs and comments may have shocked you...you were just Jordyn one day now you’re a black friend who was using her white friend for the benefits...well to all who feel that way ask them why were you friends when KUWTK was just beginning, why were you besties before the lip kits and the selfie confidence...somehow the JOURNEY to becoming one of the most famous families gets forgotten amongst all their bling...you’re 21 years old and at a very young age you’ve had to learn a hard truth...you’re special but the moment you have “wronged” your white BFF you get reminded you are Black...like that’s an insult or handicap? Truth is that’s never going to get any easier...being a Black Woman in America carries a great deal of pressure, many stereotypes, and outright disrespect...But speak on it...Tell your truth unapologetically...of course you knew you were Black prior to this but being wealthy can at times be a huge barrier between you and racism...and now women who are raising Black little girls of their own have decided it is okay for you to be BULLIED for having the audacity to be “ungrateful” and Black...if no one else tells you...you did what Black Women do...you owned your mistakes, you took your medicine, you spoke up, you apologized, then you learned from this and you started over only this time stronger than before...Being a Black woman is so incredible and powerful...you’re strong from the moment you take your first breath and you are equipped to weather any storm and dance gleefully in the rain...Don’t you just love it! @elizabethwoods
