💋 Use permanent color on the roots of the extensions! The color will last longer and blend better! I used @kenraprofessional (formula in the video!👆)
💋 When you’re coloring them, do ONE WEFT AT A TIME! Don’t get impatient and color them all together, they will always be splotchy, trust me!
💋 When you’re rooting, make the roots vary! Don’t leave them with a solid line, drag the color down a little here and there to give it a more “lived in” or natural look! When you pile the wefts together they will blend better and have a more foiled or balayaged look! After all, when your clients hair splits on day 4 of being dirty, you want those extensions to camouflage into their roots!
💋 do NOT apply creative colors (in this case I used @pravana Red) at the same time as your oxidative dyes! You need to do them separately! Do your roots first, shampoo well, dry, and THEN apply your creatives! Overlap the creative over your roots, it will blend seamlessly and take your color to the next level! Take the time, and do it RIGHT 👊
