It’s @felicityspector here at the fabulous new @mielbakery in #WarrenStreet - tucking into an amazing spread by acclaimed pastry chef Shaheen Peerbhai aka @purplefoodie ... we’ve got a super flaky caramelised kouign amman, a sable Breton with pecans, a beautiful Valrhona chocolate tart and a crunchy, custardy canele warm from the oven. Plus a big cup of velvety hot chocolate... it doesn’t get much better than this! Shaheen is a total star - she trained in France at Le Cordon Bleu and Alain Ducasse with a James Beard Scholarship - somehow finding time to write a book, the Paris Picnic Club.
