It’s called declawing and an estimated 25% of domestic cats in the United States are still being subjected to this inhuman procedure. People declaw their cats to save their furniture, avoid being scratched, and for whatever else reason. Education is important because most people opt to do this procedure without understanding the risks, consequences, and the emotional and physical damage caused by this procedure.
