Karen isnt being "forced" to be gay. She's been bisexual in her actions and desires since the beginning of the show (and in flashbacks from before). The only real issue here is that the word bisexual has only been mentioned once on the show to my recollection, and it was used as a joke about how "crazy" and unpredictable is and met with laughs from the audience. Now that she's acting on her bisexuality again, her orientation is being erased. I love this show, but it has a weird obsession with binary orientations where you're either straight or gay. There's no doubt that Karen was madly in love with Stan and at least very sexually attracted to Alec Baldwin's character (forgot his name). And yet now that she's with someone of the same sex it suddenly erases 20+ years of this character's past and she's a lesbian now. No wonder fans are confused about this. Even the characters in the show are confused 😂 Why is it SO hard to just explain that a character is bi? Why do bi and pan characters have to always be the butt of a joke in some special episode where Will and Grace get played on by the same guy? Hell, even lesbians aren't represented enough on this show. As great as it is that they address the issues of gay men, they're not the only ones who exist. #rantover
