Among some of the topics we addressed are... • The power that football has to teach us important human values and skills (emotional intelligence, mental resilience, self-confidence, patience, humility, discipline, etc) that we can apply to other areas of life. • The responsibility I believe that we footballers have to use our influence and success to make a positive and ethical contribution to this society that glorifies us. • The importance of intensifying our attention on the meaningful and life-transformative aspects of the game and not so much on the lucrative, materialistic and superficial ones. • Football or any collective sport as element of combat against racism, injustice, exclusion, discrimination, violence and anything preventing us from converging into common goals and developing more tolerant, unified and cooperative communities.
