Huge congrats to @jacopolarcher for sending his long-term project in Cadarese, Italy. The gear is exlusively trad and it took Jacoppo more than 50 sessions to complete. With 9a+ under his belt (La Rambla), claiming this thing is is his hardest ever (both sport and trad), I think there is no doubt this thing is the hardest single-pitch trad route in the world! Jacoppo did not give any grade yet. Jacopo has been one of the best allround climbers for some years, possibly not really getting enough credit for his savage sends. Bravo Jacopo!

adammonten It can be quite possibly be the hardest trad route but to be honest the statement Adam is nonsense. By implying his past achievements are sufficient to come to this conclusion you completely ignore the fact that trad climbing is very dependent on the number of possible placements, if they are good or not, the difficulty of the placements and the position of the climber while having to make the placements. All this influence extremely much how hard a route is perceived by the climber. Which is NOT the same as how technically hard the route actually is. Even the climbers anatomy makes a difference, especially if there are cracks involved or long reaches
