🌊 Happy #WorldSealDay! Even in total darkness, a gray seal gets its meal. Sensitive whiskers (a.k.a. vibrissae) can detect currents created by the seals' prey. They regularly dive 230 feet beneath the water's surface for food, but are capable of diving much deeper.

bruingirl2001 Here in SF we love our seals and sea lions. The sea lions that hang out by Pier 39 are super noisy and love to sunbathe (when there is sun). They are smelly but also really adorable.
