Freshly in my 20s, a bronze medal from the Senior Canadian Championships in my back pocket, and having just had the skate of my life in front of a hometown crowd at the Four Continent championships at the Pacific Coliseum; I would go on to just miss a top 10 finish in the Freeskate at my very first Worlds. I felt like was on the edge of something great. After 2 more national medals, some international hardware, and another trip to the World Championships, CBC Canada announced my retirement on the exact day that I would graduate from University as well as get the keys to my very own apartment. I crossed the stage to accept my B.A. on June 12th, 2015 and just like that; I became a grown ass man. Since that day I've had the honor of being the best man at my brother's wedding, was casted in the Original cast of "1977" and "iSkate 2.0" on board the largest cruise ship in the world, the Symphony of the Seas, and performed and the Muscat Royal Opera House in Muscat, Oman to a 40 piece live orchestra and 5 amazingly talented Opera singers in "A Festival Opera on Ice." After traveling to over 20 countries and making an abundance of amazing memories and new friends along the way, I'm now 30.
