keene.j This movie and Selena’s music meant so much to me. I saw myself on screen. I’m not Mexican American. But I was born in El Salvador came to the US with my family when I was 6. Seeing the struggle between not being American or Latin enough was real and I related to it. Speaking in Spanish in the home and English everywhere else. It still to this days speaks to me. The relentless love and support of @goconstance (Selena ‘s mom) Is moving. Not to mention it took my undying love for Selena and all that she meant to me and gave it a new home in @jlo. 🥰🥳😭🤩🥰😘

sally578 @goconstance , I actually got to see Selena in El Paso in her early days of touring. Had no idea who she was until after the fact.😞. And the little girl that played Selena cane to El Paso for an appearance at a baseball game, took my girl softball players to meet her.
