One touching moment caught on film. The longest I’ve been away from my daughters is 2 weeks and that was too much. I often think about the men and woman in our armed forces who have to leave their families for 9 months at a time and the sacrifices they make to keep us safe at night when we sleep. This young boy hadn’t seen his Dad in 10 months who was over in Afghanistan and came home go surprise his son at Karate practice. He’s the only one who calls his son “Chip” which is how the boy realized it might be his Father. Never forget the variety of sacrifices these women & men offer up for our Freedom on a daily basis.
