BEST age yet. Thinking about retiring I Love My Baby, But... I still wanna do I Love My Toddler, But... things just aren’t as complicated anymore, am I right?! There’s still the struggles- like mom guilt, lack of our freedom and his need of independence, drain from showing up for so many people, etc. but NOTHING like what I went through that first year of his life. I always kind of knew the baby stage would be hard for me but that I’d thrive in the toddler phase. The fact that we can communicate is MAJOR! Thoughts? 📸: @annem.cart

Yes! I say still do I Love My Toddler, but continue to encourage & uplift other moms who are struggling in the baby years. I remember I clung for dear life to wisdom of moms who had already gone through my motherhood struggles and came out the other side wanting to share with me.

And as much fun as every stage is (and with challenges too), it does get better over time, because that bond with your "baby" is more complete with communication and shared experiences and the time you spend together. Every day adds to the joy! Enjoy it all! xo

ONE HUNDRED PERCENT.
I loved my baby but...
IM OBSESSED WITH MY TODDLER because we talk and communicate and are silly and understand each other. There’s still melt downs but they make so much more sense.

First year was a heavy struggle for us as well. Now our boy is three and a half and aside from the overly dramatic outbursts that can appear anytime...it is a lovely and fun age! ❤️

Time to have another?! We have 2u2 and I could add “Love my Babies, But ...” ... maybe guest star other mamas, speaking about their challenges? I could do some videos/posts!

I thought the baby stage was much easier than the toddler stage. Three year olds can be tough to parent.
