Back in December, Mazzy wanted nothing more than to have a sleepover party for her 9th birthday. Unfortunately, our apartment was still under renovation (still is 🙄) and I thought there was no way to make that happen. But then, thanks to the awesome power of social media, I asked you guys what to do and everyone suggested a hotel sleepover party. Oh my god, guys— YOU ARE ALL GENIUSES. Mazzy had the best party ever. And now I know what I want to do for MY next birthday. Read all about the party, including how we got upgraded to a ridiculous suite at the Park Hyatt thanks to @thepointsguy, on the blog today!

It’s like you were reading my mind with this post. My 9 year old daughter asked to have sleepover soon. After she went to bed tonight I was thinking about them sleeping on our hardwood floor and then I was remembering my best friend in high school had a birthday slumber party at a hotel. Unfortunately I can’t afford to have a slumber party at a hotel maybe when she is in high school.

This must be a new trend. My husband and I took our kids swimming at a local hotel (points), and there was a sign in the elevator forbidding parties, including all sleepovers. 😱 How sad. My parents did this for me in high school back in the olden days, and they were my favorite birthdays ever.💕

Just read! Ahhhhmazing. This experience is going to be part of the story they tell as they get older, even when they have a family of their own. Super cool! 🙌🏽

One of my daughters friends had a a sleepover party at Foxwoods. They went to dinner and had mocktails. They did a 4d ride thing and ceramics. They had a blast.

I love @thepointsguy I’ve learned so much from his site. We’re also planning a hotel party for my son’s 7th birthday ( thanks to @hyatt points! ).

One of my students once told me her birthday was riding around in a limo. I definitely filed that under “tweenager party ideas to remember”
