Batson Hospital for Children on April 13 and WE NEED YOUR HELP. Erin and I visited the hospital back in the fall and got to meet some remarkable children and their families and we have never stopped thinking of them, of how we saw a little of Helen in every child we met, in their innocence and hopefulness. We want to help however we can to make those families' stay at Batson more comfortable since some patients spend long term visits there. Donations will help fund activity rooms and child life staff, entertainment systems and recliners for patient rooms, holiday decorations, brightly colored furniture for the emergency room and more. In addition, Friends of Children’s Hospital of Mississippi is working to fulfill their $20 million pledge to the hospital expansion now under construction, a long-fulfilled hope and wish of many for the Children's Hospital that will soon become a reality.
