Today is World Down Syndrome day and I am dancing through the tulips of my mind thanking my lucky stars I had the chance to know and love my uncle Brian! Here is is at his Paris-themed birthday party...with a smile that could light up the Eiffel. I have never met a more patient, gentle human being in my life...so much joy and so much love. Wow. What a gift and what wonderful teachers the Down Syndrome community can be to all of us, if we take the time to pay attention. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️#worlddownsyndromeday

meerlemusic @sarabareilles i agree 💗 i got to meet him a few times during our Nunsense performance time last year. I could feel that love and light that he is radiating through his being.. loved performing with your mom too, she’s so talented and a pleasure to be around.
