So humbled by the opportunity to speak at @MigraineSummit this evening about living life with chronic migraines. I’ve been experiencing this condition for decades and absolutely believe in the importance of raising awareness in order to #RaiseACurtain on this disease.

kerriew25 I have cyclical cluster migraines. They are horrendous. No medication yet helps to ease them, let alone stop them. It's difficult to hold down a job and look after 2 children when you cannot move for the agony in your entire upper half. Not to mention the dizziness, lack of coordination, nausea and inability to speak properly. It's more then just a headache. I wish people would stop throwing the term around and damaging the people that truly suffer.

I’ve suffered through the same thing my whole life and I am also training to be a proffesional actress and musical theatre performer, so it does make it tough. I’d love to hear about how you manage such a busy schedule and especially with your performances.!! Xx

casebohon I didn’t know you suffer from chronic migraines! I was diagnosed at 6 years old and all my life people think they know this “one thing” that will cure them. It took 22 years but I finally found two awesome (female) doctors who worked together across their specialities to get me down to 3 migraines a month and I couldn’t be more grateful to them.

lisawinkl Just read in my People magazine while in my bathtub suffering from a migraine for the 26th hour (how ironic) your article about having them as well. I had no clue! Am so sorry you suffer as well. This is my 41st year with these monsters and I’m TIRED. My face and skin scream MIGRAINE! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️
