Tea and sittingさんのインスタグラム写真 - (Tea and sittingInstagram)「📍...When I was about 16 and really into vintage clothes my Granny said “ I’ve got something for you, but you can only have it if you promise to wear it.” I didn’t know what to expect as she wasn’t a woman known for her clothes so when she presented me with a spotty 1930’s bolero I couldn’t believe it! I enthusiastically promised that of course I’d wear it and she gave me a coy smile and said “I wore it when I was courting”. I’ve always treasured the jacket and I often used to wear it with this dress in the 90’s; it became my ‘Lucky Outfit’ wearing it to lots of auditions including the one which got me into RADA in 1993. The jacket is so precious and also quite fragile nowadays so I don’t tend to wear it much, but it did feel good to put on my ‘Lucky Outfit’ again this morning...
