In this image, the application of blue light on the flowers has rendered the reds and yellows as a nearly single color. Adding the same hue of blue light to the background extends the monochromatic theme within the frame. Finally, by adding a spot of reddish/yellow light to a single flower, an ‘anchor’ of realistic color is produced—which also creates a focal point for the photograph.
