I had sent a comment for Sting when he dissed me for Shaggy, it was posted from my old instagram ‘@floppyblues88’ and then, just as i was fearing the worst would happen, it did, when other artists took Sting’s lead of stealing my texts for their songs. I need the world to realize that you owe me some or a lot of the credit for the lyrics. This actually happened to me three different times. After Sting used my poetry I had given him to use, for I Can’t Stop Thinking About You, and he did! (and it also hit high (#2) on the adult alternative charts), after that, then a young celebrity called Jarad Higgins found a comment I had written to Sting on Instagram that he used as lyrics for Lucid Dreams and it became popular. It was a comment on a Sting post, made by me on my since deleted Instagram account. Sting also used more of my text messages for Sad Trombone when he collaborated with Shaggy too, on 44/876. It’s incredible yes but it happened. All I was expecting was at least for it not to be plagiarized, but that I would get official acknowledgment. Instead, I got a reputation as a fantast or mythomaniac, and I got treated badly, in return, as if I was the liar. @mkcherryboom how would you feel if this had happened to you and no one gave you any credit for it? Dominic Miller is on my side about this and so is Peter Gabriel.
