Once set up, we went for a short walk to the highest point of the ridge and took a minute to take it all in. The sun dipped lower and the clouds began to light up a cotton candy pink which seemed to last forever. It's funny, when I'm in these moments time always seems to simultaneously freeze and fly by. The beauty stops you in your tracks, but at the same time my job requires me to capture what I am seeing (which often has me running around like a madman for 30 minutes).
