Ahhhh lets just call this the #LateNightWars edition of @QLS 🤣🤣😂😂🤣😂 jokes, #LennyKravitz put me on to @JonBatiste near 10 years ago when I first started my job at #LateNightJimmy. His genius use of space was a major influence. he’d perform and transform warehouses into jazzy speakeasys——turning some non descript undisclosed dumbo building into an instant hotspot. Spreading their instruments (stay human his band) across the entire room they could opt to march to the west part of the room and play that setup—-then March to the far right side of the room and play an entirely different setup. I mean with them, the use of space was their #5thBeatle—-by turning the 4th wall into the stage it made me rethink the whole entire idea of how to stage a show (and WHAT A SHOW) so glad to speak & vibe with a cool brother.
