The one benefit of this 14hr trip, we are headed South....WARMTH. We (@amyjbasslady and I) had a plan, get to Virginia by 11AM then find a spot to fish with our @rodgeeks mini rids, easy enough. Well let me tell you something, Virginia is a big state, with not that much water (especially along 81 South.) After 4 hours of looking at cows we almost gave up and went cow tipping (kidding, do people really do that?) 3 hours north of Tennessee we struck gold in Roanoke or maybe Amsterdam VA a fishable lake! Got our license, paid the dock fee and it was the best $34 Amy and I have ever spent to fish for an hour and get skunked!!! I feel relaxed, nothing like on the water therapy, and we got some cool photos.
